Dr. Jeffrey Allen is a 1988 graduate of Duke University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, and a 1993 graduate from the University of Georgia with his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Allen is originally from North Carolina. Starting in second grade, he decided that when he grew up he wanted to be a Veterinarian. Dr. Allen's first Veterinary job upon graduation was in Newnan, Georgia. He also worked in Peachtree City, Georgia.
Dr. Allen has been a part of the Crossroads Animal Hospital team since 2012. He enjoys both surgery and medicine and has a strong interest in Ultrasonography.
Outside of work, Dr. Allen spends much of his time volunteering with the Newnan Theatre Company where he acts, directs, builds sets, etc. Dr. Allen says this helps to give the creative half of his brain something to do. Vacations are usually spent with family in North and South Carolina, on a beach, on a cruise, or at an amusement park.
