Dr. Christopher Bowen received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree from Louisiana State University Veterinary School in 2007.
After graduating, he completed his internship at Friendship Hospital for Animals in Washington, D.C.
Dr. Bowen worked for Crossroads Animal Hospital from 2008-2011. He then worked with Cat Care of Fayetteville, Georgia from 2011 - 2015, before returning to Crossroads in May of 2015. He is Fear Free Certified and recently advanced to becoming Elite Fear Free Certified in December 2020.
Outside of work, Dr. Bowen enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, and their Golden Retriever Lilly. He is a passionate reader, enjoys anything pertaining to comics, superheroes, and Star Wars. And, of course, he is a diehard LSU fan.
